Testimonials
“From the beginning Dave showed a deep understanding and appreciation of Dad and quickly built a bond of friendship and trust. Dad would eagerly take off with Dave on many daily walks through town or drives out to watch the surfers at Kronkite. He also ensured that Dad’s meals were tasty and nutritious. He is also a good communicator and was in touch with the family at all the right times. Many laughs we had by all.
We were fortunate to have had Dave be part of our lives and to take such wonderful care of our father. Dave’s compassion for Dad’s condition was always foremost. And his willingness to drop anything and attend to the inevitable changes in his condition allowed Dad to live independently and at home, as he wished. What a gift.
I recommend Dave enthusiastically as a care giver and care coordinator of the highest caliber.”

I met Dave through a longtime friend of mine who recommended that I talk with Dave about the care of my “husband” as his memory began to fade. In May of 2021, Dave became a part-time companion to Ben. It was wonderful to have someone go on walks and adventures together. Dave is intelligent, caring and kind, and ultimately was able to connect us with another team member to take over as Dave had another full time caregiver job. We will stay in touch and I would highly recommend Dave as a competent companion for the care of your loved one.

“My name is Nancy Warner and this letter is in regard to the care my former neighbor Bill has been, and continues to receive from Mr. Zischke. Several of us have observed their cafe visits followed by a stroll back home. Long story short, I wish my own mother could have had the advantage of the TLC that Dave provides. The real report card actually comes from Bill, who shows up immaculate and happy. Although no longer loquacious, one cannot mistake the big smile and positive body language. Future recipients lucky enough to benefit from Dave’s kindness, sense of humor, and experience should consider themselves blessed.”

“All of the qualities I admire in a human being: kindness, compassion, intelligence, sense of humor, patience, the ability to troubleshoot and improvise, Dave Zischke brings to the table. I have been doing elder care for 15 years and managed other care givers. Dave has been an inspiration to expand my skills. He pays attention to every detail and puts his own needs after those in his care. His ability to resonate and make deep contact is impressive. You can’t do better if you want your loved one in good hands. I cannot recommend Dave Zischke highly enough.”

“I am a scientist, specializing in metabolic diseases-associated health conditions, especially migraine. In this context, I have been running a migraine group on Facebook for the past several years (since 2014). David Zischke joined us in 2018. While I had not met him in person, I know him very well through his interactions in the Facebook migraine group, where he has been an active participant alongside several thousand migraineurs. Dave has been a contributing member of my migraine group for the past year and a half. He has also communicated to the group that he cares for a gentleman who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. Dave has shared a number of happy stories about his work, improving his patient’s overall health, as a result of applying the principles of the healthy diet and regular exercise that is promoted in the Facebook migraine group. Although Dave has indicated that he is neither a scientist nor a nutritional expert, he has shown a deep interest and thorough understanding of the factors that have been shown to help stabilizing cognitive decline and improving metabolic health. It is clear to me that Dave is fully invested in the care and well-being of his patients.”
